Maintaining Oral Health in a Busy Life

We know it can seem as if there aren’t enough hours in the day which is why this year’s Dental Health Week theme is so apt. Entitled “Oral Health for Busy Lives” it highlights our concerns as to how today’s lifestyles are impacting oral health. One major worry is that people may feel they haven’t got time to care for their teeth.

During August, our experienced dental team will be even more focused on helping our patients achieve and maintain the very best levels of dental health. Even the busiest people should find some time to brush and floss properly and we can offer you some great tips on how to improve your routine, ensuring every second counts. For a healthy mouth, brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and floss at least once a day. Stick to a healthy diet and if needed, cut down on sugary drinks and foods. Don’t forget to come and visit us for regular check-ups and hygiene appointments! To make it easier to visit us, we offer after hour and Saturday appointments.

Protecting Your General Health

Great dental health helps to protect your general health as people with poor oral health are more at risk of serious diseases including diabetes and heart disease. People who already have health problems risk them worsening.

Redcliffe Dental is here to help you so if you’d like some advice or feel your dental health isn’t quite at its best, please contact us or chat with us at your next check-up.
