It’s called orthodontic relapse and that’s not uncommon.

In other words, it’s the movement of teeth as they try to move back to their original positions (which they always want to do).

Thankfully, technology has come a long way and it doesn’t necessarily mean wires and braces again. This may be corrected with aligner technology—a series of clear aligners that are virtually invisible –no wires, no metal brackets, no elastics.
